I've always been interested in photography but have only recently started really practicing. I'm starting a DA to post up my portfolio and perhaps get some critiques on my work. I shoot with a canon rebel XT with two different lenses. A 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 and a 75-300mm !:4-5.6 IS. I enjoy shooting all sorts of things. Recently, I have enjoyed event photography at the occupy movement in my city. I've also talked a few friends into letting me take their portraits. What I'd really like to get into is erotic and artistic nudes. A few friends have volunteered for this as well and the results were great. For the thousands of pictures I've taken so far, only a few are to my liking. I wish to improve my skills. Next thing on my list to get will be some studio lighting. I'm only using a set of industrial work lights and a piece of cardboard covered in tin foil for a reflector. I love natural lighting, but my window face a building. While I would love to eventually earn money from my photography, I'd rather it be recognized for it's artistry than it's ability to provide me with an income.

I'm also very interested in writing and may post some poetry and prose in the future. I have another account on here, but I haven't been active on it since high school, the better part of a decade ago.
